What is being investigated?

This test provides an initial assessment of the gut flora (Gut Flora Check Level 1) . It examines the bacterial balance in the gut as well as the presence of yeasts and fungi . Additionally, the stool pH and specific bacterial groups such as Clostridia are measured.

Clostridia are bacteria that can be associated with bloating and digestive problems, among other things.

When is the test useful?

The gut flora check can be used for an initial assessment of the gut flora , especially in the case of:

• recurring digestive problems
• Flatulence
• the desire for an overview of the composition of the intestinal flora

The test serves as an orienting assessment and does not replace medical diagnosis.

What does the analysis include?

The investigation includes, among other things:

• Assessment of bacterial balance
• Detection of yeasts and fungi

The results are summarized in a clear presentation and supplemented by an interpretation .

Implementation and evaluation

The stool sample will be taken at your home . All necessary materials will be provided.
After taking the sample, you send the material back to the laboratory, where the evaluation and interpretation takes place.
